On September 23rd, Tiombé held a horizontal jumps clinic at East Syracuse Minoa High School. There were seventeen students present representing seven different high schools: East Syracuse Minoa, Chittenango, Cicero North Syracuse, Baldwinsville, New Hartford, Nottingham and Jamesville Dewitt. During the clinic, Tiombé discussed training programs, strength and power needs, speed development, and drills and helped the athletes perform different exercises. The athletes were presented with small gifts from Tiombé’s sponsors, Nike and PowerBar. At the end of the clinic, Tiombé signed autographs and gave all the students I Am Clean t-shirts and wrist bands.

The clinic was arranged by Marsha Horan. Horan is a school counselor at Chittenango High School and the assistant track coach. She is also the meet director and organizer for the New York state public high school league and coordinator for girls events in central New York.
