To continue her support of the Miami-based Fun4Kidz non-profit organization, Tiombe attended their second annual cocktail party on December 5th. The cocktail party also included a fashion show, raffle, and toy drive. Also in attendance was Olympic 100 meter silver medalist and Fun4Kidz supporter Lauryn Williams. Approximately $1,800 worth of toys were donated to the event and then provided to the children at the Community Partnership for the Homeless - South Dade Facility.
Fun4Kidz was created to enable children of disadvantaged South Florida families to enjoy the privileges most American children take for advantage. The mission of Fun4Kidz is to make it possible for these children to learn the skills to develop their talent and the life lessons that can be taught through sports. Fun4Kidz organizes athletic clinics featuring celebrity role models, other special events, and scholarships. The children benefit merely by participating in a structured program demanding teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, and scholastic achievement...qualities leading to success.
