On March 10-11, Tiombé attended the Nike Indoor Nationals track meet held at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, Maryland. This competition is the nation's premier high school indoor track and field event. Throughout the weekend some of Nike's top athletes held 'meet & greets' with the high schoolers, cheered them on, and signed autographs. Tiombe was the special guest presenter of awards for the girls triple jump. Other elite athletes in attendance were Walter Davis, Lauryn Williams, Wallace Spearmon, Alan Webb, Dan Taylor, and Jesse Williams.
